WIP Wednesday - Little ChristmasTrees

This week I whipped up some quick gifts for my daughters teachers. These blocks will finish to 10x13 inches. I am planning to make these into small wall hangings.

I still have to put a start on the top. The inspiration for this project came from my favorite YouTube channel @Missouri Star Quilt Company. I used the smaller half hexie ruler to make the trees.

      Thank you! I think its Woodland something from last years Christmas fabric. I wish I had more of these though.

    Why is it that the cutest fabric always seems to be "last year's"??? Those are very sweet!! And I do love that fabric!!!!! Hugs......

Avant Garde Blog Tour - Arrows Baby Quilt

I am super excited to be part of the talented makers in Katarina Roccella's blog tour. Thank you, Nina for letting me participate in this wonderful blog tour. Avant Garde fabric is just mind blowing. When I first saw the pics at Art Gallery website , I was totally in love. When I recieved the fabrics they looked awesome in person and then finally when I started making my quilts. I am truly amazing to see how versatile Avant Garde fabrics are. These two are my most favorite blocks, the Panda is loaned from my 4 year old son ;). He is a cutie and insisted that I use his Panda for posing :D The arrows in the blocks were made from same two fabrics, but the the look is totally different. Think Ruffles Day1 - Kona White Ruffled pillow

I welcome you all to Day1 of Think Ruffles blog hop organized by amazing Mdm Sam @ SewWeQuilt and our amazing cheer leader Amy @ SewIncrediblyCrazy blog. I wanted to thank both Mdm Sam and Amy for this wonderful blog hop. Now peak at my project, a ruffled pillow with zipper. I have been wanting to make ruffles for a while and had one particular pillow in mind, V & Co's white ruffle pillow . I made mine with white Kona Cotton. The strips for the ruffles are 1.5inches. The finished pillow cover is 12"x18". Kona Honey Buns - 1.5inch strips My Little Quilty Model Oh..Ruffles...Ruffles... This time around I even got to add a zipper. Yay for me!
