Blithe Fabrics Blog Tour - My Little Stars

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to my blog! I'm super excited to be part of Blithe Fabrics Blog Tour .

These gorgeous Blithe fabrics are designed by Nina (Katarina Roccella). My heart felt thank you to both Nina and Art Gallery Fabrics for giving me the opportunity to participate in this blog tour. If you would like to checkout the other participants, click on the link in the beginning of this post.

I decide to fussy cut these cute little birds from the Bird Songs Moon fabric to make the center of my stars:

The following accent fabrics were used for the triangles of the stars:

Here is my very first block, I wasn't going for monochromatic/low-volume look but it just happened so:
Wonky Star Block
Finished Quilt top
Finished mini "My Little Stars" quilt
My daughter's doll "Grace" checking out the quilt ;)

Quilt Back

If you would like get your hands on these gorgeous fabrics, check out my Etsy shop/New.
Hope you enjoyed my little project with Blithe fabrics. Thank you for stopping by.

Happy Sewing/Quilting!

  1. What a precious little doll quilt--you can't go wrong with Katarina's fabric! <3 Lovely tutorial, thanks for sharing.

  2. In order to understand why you should straighten the grain of the fabric, I think you should know a little about how fabrics are made or constructed.
    martindale abrasion machine

  3. Martindale Abrasion & Pilling Tester, to determine the abrasion and pilling resistance of all kinds of textile structures. Samples are rubbed against known abrasives at low pressures and in continuously changing directions. The amount of abrasion or pilling is compared against standard parameters. It might provide you with some help, welcome to click on
