I decide to fussy cut these cute little birds from the Bird Songs Moon fabric to make the center of my stars:
The following accent fabrics were used for the triangles of the stars:
Here is my very first block, I wasn't going for monochromatic/low-volume look but it just happened so:

ReplyDeleteIn order to understand why you should straighten the grain of the fabric, I think you should know a little about how fabrics are made or constructed.
