W.I.P. Thursday - To do list

I always miss the deadline for W.I.P. Wednesday and end up making a post on Thursday. Why not call it W.I.P. Thursday.

Recently I have been renting the long arm a lot at Bits N Pieces, and I have been able to reduce my UFO pile. I am so glad because now I get to get work on more new projects. I have couple of commitments and some quilts which I wanted to make.

1. First comes, Puppy Park fabrics, starting a new baby/toddler quilt. Here is the quilt I saw in Pinterest and here. It will be very similar to this quilt. But I am planning to add this puppy to dog house applique and the tree:
2. I have never worked with Batiks and I'm curious about them. When I saw these batiks by Robert Kaufman I had to buy them. Also I am participating in the blog hop "Twist to the 60s". I don't know much about the 60s but did my research to work with these batiks.

Here is what I will be working with, Come back on Oct 4th for my turn to share the project.

3. A few projects from these lovely fabric score from Bits N Pieces sale during their birthday bash. They have a huge selection of fabrics, something for everyone. Modern or traditional quilter you will find stuff you like. Also they have huge selection of kids fabrics which I love.
Yes these are different shades of orange. I would not have choose these fabrics by myself. But when I saw this beautiful Supernova quilt by Jacquie Gering. I had to make one exactly similar to this. I have a huge selection of blues and aquas to pair with these oranges.

Simply Style and Cuzco fabrics
I finally got the Cuzco fabric for great price during the sale and the newest Simply Style by V & Co layer cake and some fat quarters. Liz @ BitNPieces spoils us with these wonderful sales. Get on their newsletter  and FB to find out about their wonderful sales. They are unbelievable.

4. I making a shop sample of Liz @ BitsNPieces quilt shop using these wonderful textured solids(linen) I believe they are by Andover fabrics. I paired it with some chevron prints from Simply Style new fabric line by V & Co:

I don't like to work on a deadline. But I do work really well under pressure.
Having said that, I'm not sure which order I will be working on things. Will be back next week with some progress.

Happy Quilting!
