Tammy for all season blog hop update - day 6
Dear hoppers, I am extremely sorry for not having a tammy bag today to share with you. Its been really difficult find time to sew/quilt, between full-time job and a toddler who gets sick so often during the winter months. I know I shouldn't be giving any excuses but this is the truth :(.
I would like to thank you our wonderful cheer leader Mary from I Piece 2-Mary for this hop and Mdm Samm for hosting these wonderful blog hops.
I also wanted to thank Brooke Nolan and Cori Blunt for creating wonderful patterns for the hop.
Today's schedule.
I would like to make it up to you and by giving away this beautiful FQ bundle from Art Gallery Fabrics Geometric Bliss Collection by Jeni Baker.
All you have do is visit the other hoppers for today and leave your wonderful comment for them and come back here and let me know that by leaving a comment to this post.
I will pick a winner next Friday Jan 23rd using the random generator. Again, to qualify you would have to leave comments to the bloggers from Tammy for all Season. And then come back here and let me know that you did.
Meanwhile I will continue working on my tammy bag and get it done one day.
Happy Sewing!

So sorry you didn't get to finish the hop.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you putting up the links for the ladies....
ReplyDeleteSorry to read that you weren't able to participate - sometimes life just gets in the way. I visit all the particpants in the Blog Hop and leave comments. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to see your Tammy Bag when it is finished!
ReplyDeleteI visited all the blog hop participants and left comments.
I love the fabric and went to the other hops and this has been so much fun.
ReplyDeleteYou will finish, I am sure. Sometimes life happens. Thanks for the giveaway. What a sweet thing for you to do. There have been lots of struggles with this hop. It's so nice to see everyone step out of their comfort zone and try something new. I visited them all so far and have learned something at every stop.
ReplyDeleteIt IS difficult to work and care for a toddler! I hope you find time to relax and be calm. Stitching can help you do that if you can find time to stitch! Hang in there! Some day you will miss these times with your little one, despite how tired you may be today! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope that you will post your bag when you get it finished. I know you will love it as they have all been so gorgeous. I'm leaving comments on all posts.
ReplyDeleteIt's seems quite a few people have had difficulties in finishing up this one, hope you still get it finished.
ReplyDeleteTotally understand!!! You let us know when you do finish! I can't wait to see it! Hugs for you and your little one!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel guilty! Life got in the way, it happens. Hopefully you have now seen the last of those nasty winter illnesses and you will get some time to enjoy stitching and sewing! And how sweet to give a shout out to all the other hoppers!
ReplyDeleteThis project was a lot of work, a few others struggled to finish too. I visited and commented on the others.
ReplyDeleteAhh, life can throw a curve ball but hopefully you can get back on track. Thanks for giving a shout out to the other hoppers. Hope your little one gets better sooner.
ReplyDeleteHi, I know how you feel. I am about 1/2 way through. I thought I had plenty of time. Don't feel too bad. My work/job got in the way too but I do not have a toddler so I know you had even more limited time. Maybe we can both share finished projects in the near future!
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us know. Hope you will be able to finish it in the future.
ReplyDeleteThey call Cross Stitching Slow stitching for a reason. It takes time and concentration. Not something that always works out while we deal with life and it's ups and downs. Take your time and enjoy the rest of the experience. I have visited all of the other participants and left notes.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your Vintage Tammy when you finish. I have really been enjoying all the stops in this hop. Thanks for sharing ... {{{hugs and stitches}}} ... :) Pat
ReplyDeleteLife gets in the way sometimes with little ones (even does without little ones too). You'll finish soon and I can't wait to see it. All stops visited and comments made. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear this. Because I am away, I got to visit everyone shortly after midnight. There are a lot of great Tammy Bags showing up. Thank you for posting.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cross-stitching on these bags. Thanks for being part of the hop and for the giveaway opportunity.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, things will settle down and you can finish your bag. Life happens, especially with a toddler.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that life has been so hectic. I pray that your toddler is healing and life is not so chaotic. I hope that you will be able to make your Tammy bag and pinny as time passes. I'm glad that you know your limitations and didn't rush to make something with which you would not be happy. It's a blessing to encourage the others.
ReplyDeleteLife sure can be rather hectic with little ones, especially when they are sick! You will find the time to get to it and when you do it will be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have been around to see all the other stitchers and their Tammy's in various stages, some finished some not,but all beautiful!
You seem to be having lots of company - life has been throwing curve balls at nearly everyone during this hop. I have visited everyone today; I love the hops!
ReplyDeleteHi Malini! Your post made me smile, because I can relate to it so much. I have some quilting and cross stitch projects that I have been working on for years, as I try to find the time. I admire you for putting your hat in the ring though! I enjoyed visiting the other bloggers that you listed, and made comments. Thanks for the generous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHope life settles down for you soon. Your Tammy will be lovely when it is finished.

I really hope your get to finish your bag. Winter is tough enough, but when you have a sick little one, it makes it even worse.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the link mentioned above and really enjoyed seeing the photos of the creative work!
I think that is why I don't join into these projects...especially having to link up! The pressure! the pressure! I find that life gets in the way. Thanks for the lovely hop! I enjoyed visiting everyone! I'm not quite brave enough to do cross stitch and then the bag! So adorable! Maybe one day!
ReplyDeleteLove the tammy bag..hope life will be better soon. My email is elfira_lia @ yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteEatery one is so wonderfully creative...nice to be part of a joint activity I am sure. I enjoyed your products, hope you enjoy making yours when you are able.

Thanks for the links for the other hoppers, if your bag turns out as cute as theirs, I know it will be beautiful!! And don't be too hard on yourself for not finishing on time...you weren't the only one having a lot going on during this project. I visited the bloggers listed and left a note that Tammy for all Season sent me.....Thanks for the awesome give away! jacklynnsteven at netzero dot com
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing all the other bags- I commented on them all. Here's to hoping you can find time to finish yours soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm working on catching up on the hop and am enjoying everyone's creations. I think we can all understand how hard it is when the little ones are sick.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed everyone's efforts on this hop, I know it has been a challenge for many...me included. Hope you do get yours finished, I am sure it will be a beauty.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure where my first comment went so I will try again...
ReplyDeleteI call them life's 'little hiccups' when things don't work out the way we want them too. Thanks for posting and I will look forward to seeing your Tammy bag when you get a chance to finish it. Hope your wee one is feeling better!! Thanks for the chance to play with Jeni Baker's fabrics. Happy stitching, Pauline
This seemed like a pretty challenging hop to finish for many participants. I've been following the hop but didn't participate. With both cross stitch plus the purse it would seem to be a bit of a time consuming project. That being said I hope you get to share some of your work in progress on your Tammy soon and feel better this winter, I've started taking 2 Airborne a day to try and top my constant cold I've had since late November!
ReplyDeleteLife happens to the best of us. Hope your baby feels better. I love checking out the hops and leave comments at them all. Take care and hugs.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that your little one has been sick Malini. I hope everyone returns to healthy and happy soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous substitution. While I'm sorry real life intruded, as it does, rushing to finish would have added stress to what is supposed to be a fun diversion. I'm sure it will be lovely when the time is right. On visiting the other blogs, I found most had similar problems with either partial or alternative finishes. It is a rather large boat! Best of luck in the new year. Notwendy gmail
ReplyDeleteHi, Malini - That's just the way some things go. Life happens. I always love seeing your creations and hope you can get back to it soon. Hopped around to the other bloggers for your day - this one was a huge challenge, but I still love seeing everyone's efforts.
ReplyDeleteHope you're able to finish soon!
ReplyDeleteI checked out the other bloggers and left comments. Seems that several others had trouble finishing too. That's part of the reason I don't do cross stitch anymore -- it just takes so long!
