My Sewing and Quilting Adventures

I'm so excited to be working on SewCal Gal's FQM challenge for May. This month Leah Day our favorite FMQ teacher is the FMQ Expert sharing the tutorial for May. So far 90% of my FMQ skill learned are from Leah and I have to admit she is a wonderful teacher and adorable person. She is so generous to be sharing her FMQ expertise with us with her Quilt Along Wednesday. She keeps us our our finger tips ;) (which are toes in the quilting world ...ha...ha..) So, here is my practice quilt sandwiches for May tutorial. I have stitched the double stippling and rail road tracks side by side. You can easily see the texture difference they provide. The quilt measure approximately 18x20 inches making it perfect for my daughters table topper or one could also use it as on the go changing pad. Week 16 - Zippling Here are the pictures of my practice on Zippling FMQ. I used the same quilt sandwich I was working on for week 15 and part of it quilted with Zippling.
